Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 May 2026

1. Who we are

StackDetox is a brand of Joachim Nolten BV, a private limited company incorporated in the Netherlands (KvK 92685498). These terms govern your use of the StackDetox platform at stackdetox.eu. By using the platform you agree to these terms.

2. The service

StackDetox provides two tiers of service:

  • Quick Scan — a free, anonymous sovereignty risk assessment. No account required.
  • Workspace — a subscription-based vendor inventory and risk management tool for organisations.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • The Workspace is intended for business use. You represent that you are acting on behalf of an organisation and have authority to bind it to these terms.
  • One organisation per account. Each organisation may have multiple members.

4. Free trial and subscription

  • Trial — new Workspace accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required to start.
  • Pricing — after the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Current pricing is shown at checkout and on the billing page.
  • Payment — subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Mollie. Payment methods include iDEAL, credit card, and Bancontact.
  • Renewal — subscriptions renew automatically each month. You will receive an invoice by email after each successful payment.
  • Cancellation — you may cancel at any time from the billing page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except at our discretion.
  • Failed payments — if a payment fails we will retry and notify you. After repeated failures your access may be suspended.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the platform or its scoring methodology.
  • Abuse the API, scrape content, or overload the service.
  • Upload vendor data belonging to a third party without authorisation.

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

6. Your data

You own the vendor data you enter into the Workspace. We process it on your behalf to provide the service. You may export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. On account termination, your data is deleted within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how personal data is handled.

7. Intellectual property

StackDetox and its scoring methodology, software, and content are owned by Joachim Nolten BV. Nothing in these terms transfers any IP rights to you. You grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide the service.

8. Disclaimer and liability

  • The service is provided "as is". We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of risk scores, or fitness for a particular regulatory purpose.
  • Risk scores are indicative only and do not constitute legal or compliance advice.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Hague, the Netherlands.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
